We're Thermatic, the facilities management company dedicated to enhancing building performance, improving the built environment, and changing the face of Facilities Management.
From HVAC to drainage and renewables, we look after the systems that keep buildings running safely, efficiently and reliably. With our self delivery first approach operating across more than 10,000 sites nationwide, we work directly with facilities managers, property teams, housing providers, local authorities, retailers and healthcare providers, bringing the same technical expertise and personal care to every site we look after.

Thermatic has been keeping buildings running since 1971
We started in Stockport, delivering mechanical and electrical installation work for some of the UK's largest construction companies. But over time, we saw something the industry was getting wrong – facilities managers and building owners being let down by inconsistent service, impersonal relationships, and suppliers who treated FM as a transaction rather than a partnership.
So we changed. Over the last 15 years we've shifted our focus firmly towards long-term partnerships, because that's where we make the biggest difference. Today, more than 80% of our business comes from ongoing FM and partnership contracts. And that's exactly how we like it.
Company timeline
The Thermatic Group was established in 1971 and over this long-standing 50-year period, we have continued to expand upon our expertise to deliver nationwide technical services to an array of customers and sectors. Whilst we continue to grow and adapt to the ever-changing environment, our focus continues to centralise around our technical skills, customer service and our passion for building services engineering.

1980's
Building a Reputation for Technical Excellence
Throughout the decade, Thermatic continued to grow its client base and develop its reputation for delivering reliable engineering and maintenance services.
1990's
Supporting Larger Commercial Estates
As client requirements evolved, Thermatic expanded its capabilities to support increasingly complex commercial and multi-site environments.
2000's
Growth Through Long-Term Partnerships
The business continued to strengthen relationships with national organisations, delivering dependable facilities and engineering services across a wider geographic area.
2010's
National Growth & Self-Delivery Focus
Significant investment in engineers, systems and infrastructure enabled Thermatic to support multi-site clients nationwide while maintaining a strong self-delivery model and consistent service standards.
2023
Thermatic Acquires PDS Drainage
Thermatic strengthened its national drainage capabilities through the acquisition of PDS Drainage Solutions. The move expanded the company's self-delivery offering, adding specialist drainage expertise, equipment and engineers to support customers across the UK.
